National Catchments Manager


An exciting opportunity has come up with the NZ Landcare Trust for a National Catchments Manager role. We are looking for a highly-motivated person to lead a team of like-minded people around the country, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
The National Catchments Manager will play an essential role in delivering the Trust’s Strategic Plan. The vision of the Trust is “Clean and Healthy Water, Profitable Farms, and Connected Communities”.

The National Catchments Manager will manage a new team of staff who are developing and supporting a range of catchment initiatives around the country.

The successful candidate will have management experience and environmental management expertise. They will work with New Zealand’s farming community to integrate the best methods for sustainable land and water management into their farming systems. The will collaborate with regional authorities, research providers, non-government agencies, and iwi. The position will support the Trust’s Chief Executive by further building our national partnerships with key leaders and influencers in the primary production, natural resource management, and conservation sectors.
