Integrated Catchment Management

Mountains, lowlands, lakes, rivers and estuaries do not exist in splendid isolation, each forms part of a complex network that links together to form a broader ecosystem. While small areas of 'sustainable land management' activity are very welcome, greater benefits can be seen when a broader catchment approach is adopted... this is called 'integrated catchment management'.

The benefits of this approach can be considerable and exceed the sum of the individual parts.
